  • RED SERIES

After each series that required a long period of preparation, I feel the need for a quick execution, a spontaneous and unrepeatable movement.

I then used large sheets of Japanese paper, few colors, mainly red, and a lot of ink. Then I continued this series on canvas at a slower pace.

  • FOLLOWING SERIES

During COVID I was in Tel Aviv. Little material was available except for India ink in various shades and an old wooden board found on the roof which was beginning its slow decomposition and to which I gave a new life.

To detach oneself from the landscape after having internalized it

to make it spring forth more easily,

on canvas or mounted paper,

using dry and oil pastels, ink and sometimes acrylic.

Take advantage of the light to amplify the nuances of the sky, the sea and the vegetation.
