"These are landscapes created with a great desire for rapid gestures. This is what I force myself to do after each series, or I work for several months on each canvas.

I start by working on large sheets of rice paper with few colors, mostly red, and a lot of ink.

Then I repeat the same movements on canvas and go back to painting much more slowly."
